Rectilinear motion
If the motion of a body is along a straight line, it is said to be the rectilinear or linear motion.
- 1-Dimentional motion
For eg - Pushing of Box
Basic Formulas :
U = initial velocity,

A = acceleration,
s = displacement,
T = time of travel
Graphs in Uniformly Accelerated Motion along a straight line (a not equal to 0) :

V is a linear polynomial in terms of t. Hence v-t graph is a straight line of

A-T Graph -
a-t graph is a horizontal line because a is constant.
